During this time, I interviewed for Pharmacy Marketing and Communication positions. I was not successful, despite having more domestic and international experience than the interviewer.
What was disappointing was that I then approached the CEOs of the Sigma Group for mentoring and they refused to assist or respond? - Jack Black Added May 01, 2023★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I'm a soon-to-be ex customer of Sigma Pharmaceuticals. They used to provide acceptable service up until about 5 months ago when they lost the Chemist Warehouse contract. Since then, problems seem to have crept in and are getting worse.
Deliveries come very late in the day, if at all.
They make an unacceptable number of picking errors, which wastes my time to have to rectify.
They have reduced their order cut-off times from midnight until 7:00pm and now (temporarily) 4:00pm. This is unrealistic for me as a customer because I'm busy in my business and doing other things in the afternoon.
I tried to send my order today before 4:00pm, but guess what? Their online ordering portal Netstore crashed. Oh, and the stock levels on Netstore are sometimes incorrect, so you'll order something thinking it will arrive the next day, but when the order arrives, you find that it's gone on backorder.
I tried phoning my order through, but was on hold for 10 minutes before I gave up in frustration. I left my phone number for a call-back which I am still waiting for - 1 hour later.
I've signed with another wholesaler, and if Sigma are unwilling or unable to solve their problems, they'll lose other customers too.
